thefinalmessage|THE FRIDAY NOTE
The Prophet Muhammad (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said "Whoever provides food for a fasting Muslim to break his fast, he will have the same reward as that of the fasting Muslim, without reducing anything of his own reward".
Among the many virtues of this blessed month is the fact that any good deeds that we do are multiplied, and prayers are accepted. Hence we should try and be the first to avail any opportunities of pleasing Allah (SWT), as the simplest of things will insha'Allah go a long way.
Pearls of Wisdom;
"The World is three days - As for yesterday, it has vanished, along with all that was in it. As for tomorrow, you may never see it. As for today, it is yours so work on it "
[ Iman Hasan Al-Basri]
Q. I forgot that I was fasting and accidentally ate something. Does this invalidate my fast?
Praise be to Allaah.
In the Name of Allah, the most Merciful and Compassionate,
The Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said, "Whoever forgets that he is fasting and then eats or drinks, let him complete his fast, for verily, it was Allah who gave him to eat and drink" [Bukhari and Muslim]
The scholars of the Shafi`i school deduced from this hadith that if one forgetfully does something that invalidates the fast, then one's fast is not thereby invalidated (cf. Minhaj al-Talibin). So if you eat or drink something during the day because you forgot that you were fasting, your fast is not invalidated. The moment you remember that you are fasting, however, you must spit out the food or drink that is still in your mouth. If you continue eating or drinking after remembering that you are fasting, your fast will be invalidated.
And Allaah knows best.
Weekly Suggested Good Deed – Help Out With Preparation of Iftar;
Think of whoever has prepared all the food for you, it is quite likely that person was fasting as well. So offer your help in the kitchen and make sure that you remember them in your duahs.

“Allahumma innee as-aluka bini’matika-assaabighati allatee an’amta bihaa ‘alaiyya wa balaa-ikal-ladhee ibtalaitanee wa bifadlikal-ladhee afdalta ‘alayya an tudkhilaniyal-jannah. Allahumma adkhilnee aljannata bifadlika wa mannika wa rahmatika.”
“O Allah! I ask You by medium of Your abundant blessings that You have blessed me with and by medium of Your trials that You have tested me with and by medium of Your trials that You have favoured me with that You enter me in Paradise. O Allah! enter me into paradise with Your favour, boon and mercy.”
