Allah (ﷻ; The Possessor of Complete Glory and Majesty) says in His Perfect Word: “And a caller to ‘the Way of’ Allah by His command, and a beacon of light.” [Surah Al-Ahzab 33:46]
Ibn Rajab says: “Allah referred to Muhammad ﷺ as an ‘illuminating lamp’ because his light is like the light of the sun and even more complete, great and beneficial.”
In our persistent efforts to improve ourselves and follow the sunnah, we remind ourselves of the status of RasulAllah ﷺ and how we should aim to improve and also be of benefit to others. We should always aim to increase our status in front of our Lord in the dunyah (this world) as well as the akhirah (the Afterlife).
Allah's Messenger ﷺ said, "If Allah loves a person, He calls Gabriel, saying, 'Allah loves so and so, O Gabriel love him' So Gabriel would love him and then would make an announcement in the Heavens: 'Allah has loved so and-so therefore you should love him also.' So all the dwellers of the Heavens would love him, and then he is granted the pleasure (acceptance is put for him in the hearts) of the people on the earth." [Bukhari]
Such are the friends of Allah (ﷻ). Allah has loved him and made the whole of creation love him. Subhan Allah these people exist among us while we don't always know them. A slave from the slaves of Allah, when you see him, even though you might have never met him, but your heart just begins to love him and his face brings a smile to your face.
We ask Allah ﷺ to make us from these people, Ameen
"If you want to know your value with your Lord, look to how He is using you and what actions He has kept you busy with."
