Allah reminds us in the Magnificent Qur’an, "Is it not with the remembrance of Allah that hearts find rest?" [Surah Ar-Ra’d 13:28]
Many of us complain that 24 hours doesn’t seem to be enough for our tasks in a day. We juggle our duties more out of a need to keep pushing, without much to show for it. When this is happening to us it may not be because we have a lot of work to do, it may simply mean that there is not enough barakah in our time…
Our beloved Prophet (ﷺ; peace be upon him) said, “Fear Allah and treat your children [small or grown] fairly (with equal justice)”. [Bukhari and Muslim]
Allah (Subhanahu wa ta'ala; May He be glorified and exalted) says in His Perfect Words: "Who is the one who is going to give you rizq if Allah withholds it from you" [Surah al-Mulk 67:21]. "Allah has favoured some of you over others with regards to rizq." [Surah an-Nahl 16:71]
It was reported by al-Haythami in ‘Majma’ az-Zawa’id’ (3/203) with a hasan chain that the Prophet (ﷺ; peace be upon him) said: “Winter is the best season for the believer. Its nights are long for him to pray in, and its days are short for him to fast in.”
Allah (Subhana wa ta’aala; the Most Glorified the Most High) tells us in His Perfect Words: “And the Messenger has said “O my Lord, indeed my people have taken this Qur’an as something abandoned.” [Al-Furqan 25:30]
