It is from Allah’s mercy that when He made the ten days of Dhul-Hijjah the best of days. He preferred remembrance during it for its ease, so that everyone who desires will receive the reward and only those who deserve deprivation will be deprived of it. Alhamdulillah we have entered into the blessed 10 days of Dhu Al-Hijjah (the month of Hajj). The 9th day of Dhu Al-Hijjah is called the day of Arafah, a day where Hajj pilgrims gather at the mount of Arafah praying and supplicating to Allah (‘azza wa jal; The Possessor of Complete Glory and Majesty).
Allah (‘azza wa jal; The Possessor of Complete Glory and Majesty) says: "Say (O Muhammad ﷺ; peace be upon him): 'Verily, my Salat (prayer), my sacrifice, my living, and my dying are for Allah, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists).'" [Surah al-Anaam 6:162]
