The 9th day of Dhu Al-Hijjah is called the day of Arafah, a day where Hajj pilgrims gather at the mount of Arafah praying and supplicating to Allah (‘azza wa jal; The Possessor of Complete Glory and Majesty).
Allah (‘azza wa jal; The Possessor of Complete Glory and Majesty) says: "Say (O Muhammad ﷺ; peace be upon him): 'Verily, my Salat (prayer), my sacrifice, my living, and my dying are for Allah, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists).'" [Surah al-Anaam 6:162]
Allah (‘azza wa jal; The Possessor of Complete Glory and Majesty) reminds us in the Glorious Qur’an: “O believers! When you rise up for prayer, wash your faces and your hands up to the elbows, wipe your heads, and wash your feet to the ankles.” [Surah Ma’idah 5:6]
Allah (‘azza wa jal; The Possessor of Complete Glory and Majesty) reminds us in the Glorious Qur’an: “O you who believe, be upholders of justice - witnesses for Allah, even though against (the interest of) your selves or the parents, and the kinsmen. One may be rich or poor, Allah is better caretaker of both. So do…

Consider the following, Allah (‘azza wa jal; The Possessor of Complete Glory and Majesty) says in the Qur’an: وَالضُّحَى / “I swear by the morning brightness” [Surah Ad-Duhaa 93:1], وَاللَّيْلِ / “I swear by the night” [Surah Ad-Duhaa 93:2], وَالْفَجْرِ / “I swear by dawn” [Surah Al-Fajr 89:1], وَالْعَصْرِ / “I swear…
Allah (ﷻ; The Possessor of Complete Glory and Majesty) says in His Perfect Word: “And a caller to ‘the Way of’ Allah by His command, and a beacon of light.” [Surah Al-Ahzab 33:46]
“And never think of those who have been killed in the cause of Allah as dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision” [Surah Ali ‘Imran 3:169]
If we really want to make the best of this Ramadhan, then we need to prepare for it now! As we know, fasting is more than just abstaining from food but from indecent speech and lustful desires as well. Fasting pushes us to be cognizant of our actions, to be patient and to be moral individuals, thereby increasing our…
Allah (‘azza wa jal; The Possessor of Complete Glory and Majesty) reminds us in the Glorious Qur’an: ”O believers! When the call to prayer is made on Friday, then proceed diligently to the remembrance of Allah and leave off your business. That is best for you, if only you knew.” [Surah al-Jumu’ah 62:9]
One of the most important acts of worship that a child is instructed to do with regard to his/her parents is to obey them, and to refrain from their prohibition. The child is encouraged to hasten towards performing an action as directed by the parent as long as it does not involve disobedience towards Allah and his…
